Where are you from? 
I am from Nigeria.

What part of Nigeria are you from?
I think the fact that I said I’m from Nigeria is okay. Anyway my father is Lebanese while my mother is from Ebonyi State.

Would you mind acting semi-nude, or being specific, on pant and bra?
I don’t mind, if the money is right, why not? The problem with Nigerians is that most of us are hypocrites. This same pant and bra is the reason some of them buy or rent Hollywood movies. What is wrong in someone being free, doing his or her job? Some actresses would want to act a role but they will be like, I don’t want to be criticized. I don’t believe in all that.

I get a script and if it involves acting seminude, as long as it’s an integral part of the story, why not? If I decide to take up a seminude role tomorrow I know some people will not like it. I am not doing it for anybody to like it. I am doing my job. I am building my own profile. I don’t see anything wrong in acting in pants and bra.

Are you not bothered that that might scare the guys away from asking your hand in marriage?

Are you kidding me? Oh my God! A man that was meant for me by God will look away because of the controversies. Most of the time, 70 percent of the fame we have, comes with controversies. If there is no controversy then there is no fame. That is how it has been, whether Bollywood, Hollywood or Nollywood.

If you want to be a celebrity, people must talk about you, good or bad, they are all controversies. If a man doesn’t want to ask my hand in marriage because of my controversial nature, he can take a walk. There are many guys out there so he can just take the door and create space for other people to come in. It is as simple as that.

We have a lot of hunky actors in Nollywood, if you were to pick, who will that be?

OC Ukeje, no, not my type. Joseph Benjamin no, he’s not my type. IK Ogbonna no, he’s too fair and he acts like everybody is all up on him. I don’t like dragging my man. You know Gbenro of Tinsel. I would go with Gbenro of Tinsel. I wouldn’t mind playing that kind of role with Gbenro.

Who gave you your first kiss in a movie?

I think it was either John Dumelo or Yul Edochie. I can’t remember.

A man believed to be in his 70s, who claimed to be a wizard, was on Wednesday found on the banks of the Okrudu River at Kaimebre, a settlement near the Kasoa New Market in the Central Region Ghana.

The man, who gave his name as Charles Atta, looked frail, pale and bore protruding breasts like that of a teenage girl.

His body was smeared with mud from the bank of the river where he was found by two brothers, Liberty Obeng and Innocent Obeng, who claimed they found the strange man crying for help.

The two brothers told Daily Guide reporters that the self-acclaimed wizard confessed to them that he was in the company of colleagues, including a medical doctor and were flying to Cape Coast for a meeting when he was forced down.

According to him, they were flying over a church where an all-night vigil was being held when he crash- landed at Servant Kings International School.

“When we as ked him where he was coming from, Atta told us that he was from Akuapem Akropong but was flying to Cape Coast to attend a meeting for witches and wizards,” he said.

Charles also confessed that the two puffy protrusions on his chest were breasts taken from his 16-year- old granddaughter and that he normally borrowed them for his night activities.

The two brothers said they were initially confused and bewildered by the weird sight of the man, and not knowing what to do him took him to Pink FM, a local radio station at Kasoa for help.

When the strange announcement was made on radio, hundreds of people besieged the premises of the radio station to see the suspected wizard.

Upon hearing the news, the Kasoa District Police dispatched a number of police personnel to the station to save the victim from being lynched.

Superintendent Samuel Tabril Punobyin told the paper that the police did not investigate spiritual matters and that the suspected wiz-ard could therefore not be charged.

He said the police would look for the family of the man and hand him over to them. Charles Atta is still in the custody of the Kasoa Police.

I said it would be better for me to visit them in their countries. Each time they visit this place, I receive query from God because of my time that should have been used to attend to the poor and the needy that are waiting for me.

One soul is not superior to the other, why should I continue to receive query? Really out of three presidents that may visit, there will hardly be one that will show good example of the counsel that they received from me. If the needy are more receptive to God, it is better to give them more of my time.

Edo State PDP Offers The Woman Governor Oshiomole Abused N250,000

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Edo State, has condemned the inhuman treatment meted out on a widow by the State Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.

The PDP in rescue of the widow has asked the widow to come to their office and get the sum of N250,000 to help cushion the effects her siezed goods will have on her.

This was contained in a press release signed by the state chairman, Dan Orbih.

Edo PDP watched with consternation Governor Adams Oshiomhole’s brutal, inhuman and merciless treatment of a widow street-trader whose wares he ordered seized and who he unfeelingly told to ‘…go and die’ even as she knelt down in fervent protestations and appeals to his pity on a helpless widow.The governor’s actions are appalling, insensate, disgraceful, indecent, cruel and below board.

It is clear that he does not care much about the well being of the people as he pretentiously avowed.

Our hearts go to that hapless widow in this her time of travails and through her, to other widows who have been oppressed by the unfriendly policies of the administration in Edo State.

The PDP, Edo State will not let any Edo person ‘to go and die’ if it can help it, especially not hardworking people like that widow who are engaged in lawful enterprises that are, in themselves, not easy to carry on.

To this end, our party has instituted an endowment fund for all widows and oppressed people in the state and by this release, we invite the widow captured in the video of the encounter with Governor Oshiomhole to come to the PDP Secretariat on No. 70, Sapele Road, at 11am on Tuesday December 3, 2013 to receive a first-installment sum of N250,000.00 to cushion the pain, trauma and loss occasioned by her mistreatment and the seizure of the items she sells.

Governance is about the people and as a responsible National Institution, Edo PDP cannot be unconcerned about the wrong treatment of indigenes of the state to whom the present administration promised heaven just to win their votes.

We will continue to stand in the gap to ensure that Edo people are deservedly fairly treatment.

If Governor Oshiomhole believes that Edo People sinned by voting him into office, let him remember that he will account for his actions, if not to the people because he apparently does not think much of them, but to God Almighty in the short or long run.

We thank all those who have been humanely concerned about the plight of the widow and have stood out vehemently against the crying shame that was the insensitive action of a governor who seems bent on repaying electoral favor with ingratitude.

On if the comment bothers her: “Why would it bother me? It is one thing to be hurt over such statement and another thing to be disappointed. I wasn’t hurt and I wasn’t even disappointed. Worst things have been said and written about me but the people who know who I am would tell the difference.”

She also revealed that she is more interested in her life at the moment rather than talking about “what doesn’t make sense”.

“I am more involved with my birthday and celebrating it with the orphans and the less privileged. I am better off talking about this than to talk about what is not important. I am too busy making money. People who know you will always know how positive you have affected their lives. Church of England to permit gay marriage ceremonies

According to Daily mail,

The Catholic church of England Announced yesterday Gay couples should be allowed to have their relationships blessed in church. A report, written by former civil servant Sir Joseph Pilling and a team of senior churchmen and women, may now open the way for a reversal of the Church of England's opposition to same-sex marriage and the eventual appointment of actively homosexual priests and bishops. The report stated that Bishops should lift their official ban on ceremonies to mark civil partnerships and the relationships of gay and lesbian churchgoers. It signalled an end to the Church’s longstanding insistence that gay relationships are sinful and less worthy than heterosexual marriage.

Current CofE guidance laid down by bishops forbids priests to conduct same-sex blessing services.

Nevertheless, some estimates say 200 such services a year are carried out in Anglican churches.

Bishops could permit gay blessing services simply by changing their guidelines. Their first opportunity to do so will come at meetings next month and in January. The Pilling report calls for two years of ‘facilitated conversations’ on a series of ideas that will sweep away the decades of opposition to gay rights if a majority in the Church accept them.The row over gay bishops has been toxic for the Anglicans since the last Archbishop of Canterbury, Lord Williams, prevented the appointment of openly gay Canon Jeffery John as a bishop in 2003. An 11-year-old boy is chained up by his family in the eastern coastal province of Zhejiang in China. His family said the boy injured his head when he was one year old and started suffering from mental disorders.

According to family, they had no choice but to restrain him on chains as he had a tendency to attack those around him. Zili's lives with his physically disabled grandfather and his intellectually handicapped father, who did not want to be named. The boy's mother died of cancer. The story of He Zili is a shocking example of how mental disorders are dealt with in rural China.

Statistics released this year by China's National Center for Mental Health showed that as of the year of 2009, 100 million Chinese suffered from mental health problems with more than 160 million citizens afflicted with serious mental illnesses such as schizophrenia and paranoid psychosis. Such figures indicate that one in every 13 Chinese in 2009 had a mental health problem.

Back in the 1950s, the reported ratio of Chinese adults suffering from mental illness was just 2.7 per cent, or one in every 37 Chinese citizens. Worldwide, there are four psychiatrists and thirteen nurses for every 100,000 people. In China, the ratio drops to 1.5 psychiatrists and 2.2 nurses per 100,000.

2013!! Slowly coming to an end. A year of many joys and enlightenment. If one had told me on the 31st of December 2012 when I lit fireworks and screamed "Happy New Year!" that I would be married and expecting a miracle; my mini-me, I would have doubted. If someone had told me I would be a dual citizen of Nigeria and Germany, I would have wondered how. I was terribly hurt in 2012 but in just one year my life changed forever. Some have said, "Can she ever settle down?", "Who will marry this feminist?" "Which man go put this one for house?". Well, my God has answered those questions. :-) I have grown mentally, spiritually and emotionally. I have learnt not to be selfish and more tolerant. It wasn't all roses in 2013...I lost my job that I put so much into but gratefully other doors are opening. I was sick beyond comprehension and thought I would die but God was with me.

I fought with some family members but it brought us closer. I gained better relationships with my loved ones and I acquired a brand new family (The Nnolis) and in the process of making my own. As the last days of December 2013 comes, keep believing, keep fighting and stay strong. Miracles do happen. You heart desires will be granted. Your pain will be removed and your joy established. But remember, always keep a clean heart and wish others no evil and I guaranty you, it will be well with you shortly.

Lord, I thank you for 2013...It is a year I will always remember. Keep us all to enjoy the blessing of 2014.

Mozambique Airlines plane crashes in Namibia, killing 33 people

A Mozambique Airlines plane carrying 27 passengers and 6 crew members crashed in Namibia today Saturday November 30th, killing all on board, local media reports.

The Brazilian-made Embraer 190 aircraft left Maputo and was heading to Luanda when it crashed in a remote border area near a Namibian national park, Mozambique authorities said. The plane was carrying 10 Mozambicans, 9 Angolans, 5 Portuguese, and one citizen each from France, Brazil and China, plus six crew members, including two pilots, three flight attendants and a maintenance technician, the airline said today.

Nick Cannon blasts Kanye West on twitter;' Real Geniuses Don't Have to Tell Everyone

Kanye West recently garnered mixed reactions after openly branding himself a "creative genius" in a number of interviews.

During an appearance on Philadelphia radio station Hot 107.9 on Monday, the rapper cockily hailed himself a "creative genius" while speaking with co-hosts Shamara and Laiya. West, who has been doing media rounds to promote his "Yeezus" album and tour, has been making headlines for his bizarre rants.

"People get mad at me saying that I am a creative genius, but it's just obvious. It's, like, factual," West told Hot 107.9.

Nick Cannon took to Twitter to point out to Kanye that real geniuses don't have to announce it.

I was forced to masturbate in front of teammates - David Beckham reveals

David Beckham recently revealed that he was forced to masturbate in front of his teammates as part of his initiation into Manchester United's youth team in 1991.

Beckham, who opened up about the incident in a documentary titled The Class of ’92, said the incident happened when he was just 16 years old. 'Fast and Furious' star Paul Walker killed in car accident

Paul Walker, 40, reportedly died in a car accident in California on Saturday afternoon. Here, Walker attends the "Fast & Furious 6" world premiere in London, England, on May 7.

"The Fast and the Furious" movie star Paul Walker, 40, has reportedly died in a car accident Saturday afternoon in southern California, reports TMZ.

The accident occurred in Santa Clarita — outside of Los Angeles — when Walker's Porsche apparently lost control and crashed into a tree, TMZ reported. The car burst into flames and exploded, TMZ reported.

Walker's Twitter account has confirmed the news.

American rapper Wale explains why he's never been to Nigeria until now

In a radio chat with Toolz on Beatfm yesterday, Wale said the reason he's never been to Nigeria until now was because his parents, who are both from Ondo state, were so poor they couldn't afford a bring him home.

"I grew up poor. We lived in DC, in the projects. Getting a ticket to Nigeria on $20, 000 income yearly, to my family that wasn't really... you know...like I was a 15 year old with a decent job, I'm not going to save up to go to Nigeria. That wasn't what I was thinking when I was that age. And then I was in college and the money tight right then. And then I get this record deal when I dropped out of school, you're running around so much you don't even have time to see your own parents"
